During my recent weekend escape to Hostel Casa Zambrano with a couple of fellow tea enthusiasts, we found ourselves embraced by the vibrant charm of Popayan. The cozy accommodations provided us with a well-equipped kitchenette and a flat-screen TV, perfect for cozy movie nights after our cycling adventures exploring the nearby scenic landscapes. The shared lounge was a good spot for evening chats, and with the helpful tour desk, we easily planned our next day’s exploration of the region's fascinating culture. If you're looking for a homey stay that feels like a hidden gem, I wholeheartedly recommend this spot; it's an experience that complements the lushness of my tea plantations back in Galle.
